Helping us towards a carbon neutral festival

2nd-9th August 2025

We are delighted to be working with Demelza who believe every child and young person who has a serious or life-limiting condition should receive the care and attention they need to live the most fulfilling life they can, and that they and their families have the opportunity to build memories, for however long they have together.

All unclamied lost property from our Festival will be cleaned, checked over and sent to one of Demelza's Maidstone stores.

With today’s medical advances, the number of children and young people living with a serious or life-limiting condition is increasing every year. Many need care and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, placing families under huge emotional, financial and practical pressure.

At Demelza, they want life to be the best it can be for children who have serious or life-limiting conditions – and for their parents, brothers and sisters, and all those who love them.

They provide care that doesn’t back down, supporting families wherever is best for them: in their hospices or in a childs home, online, at school and in local communities.

Specialist nursing and care teams help to keep children out of hospital or leave hospital sooner and we help parents learn to meet the complex medical needs of their children with confidence.

Most importantly, Demelza can help them to be families, enjoying time together and creating memories.

Demelza supports over 2,500 children and family members, and have plans to continually extend their reach. They rely on the community, from fundraising, to charity shops and local initiatives. Every gesture, no matter the size, has a massive impact on the lives of the children and families they support.
